There seem to be very few on the rivers & ponds this year, few Ducklings & goslings either - where have they & the geese too gone? The Swans are still about in their usual quantities + their Signets.

Are they being eaten by starving immigrants? Smile

The point I'm making, is normally at this time of the year, there are loads of Ducks & ducklings - this year, virtually zero on both, Brandon, Thetford, Diss, Needham market rivers & lakes are normally haunts for these wild creatures.

Just back from Thetford and loads of Canada Geese on the river there - unless they are part of the menu. I've not seen the mandarin duck on the pond in the country park for a while nor the geese on the fishing pond by the allotments though. Anyway Bob - it is winter so they've all gone to sunnier climes!Smile
Ah Bee.
